During the period between Christmas and new years, the local reject shop was selling some cool LED lights and glow sticks. I purchased a few different types with the intention of getting into light painting with long exposures over the next couple of weeks. Many months ago we did some light painting with steel wool and the results were interesting (still need to get a bit more experience with the best angles etc).
Last night while at Yellow Rock Lookout taking some after sunset shots I decided to give one of the led lights a try. Here are the results of the experiments:
